Mission

The Coryell Family Foundation was incorporated in 2000 to grant support to charitable, literary, scientific and educational based organizations in the San Francisco bay area and northern California.

Our mission statement: Affecting change in the Bay Area by providing support for education, health and human services.

The Foundation will support the following types of organizations:

Funding Organizations Affecting Change in the Lives of the Disadvantaged

The Foundation will fund organizations affecting change in the lives of underprivileged and disadvantaged members of society through education and access to opportunities. The funded organizations will be those that positively alter lifelong patterns of poverty and disadvantage.

Funding Organizations which Support the Disadvantaged
The Foundation will fund organizations, which have as their core objective, the fundamental purpose of financially supporting members in our society who are disadvantaged due to the existence of ingrained poverty or who lack the opportunity or ability to attain education.

Assist in the Support of Medical Recovery
The Foundation will fund organizations which further medical procedures which will be focused in the areas of medicine which largely affect those in our global society who are stricken with poverty and who lack proper medical resources.

We will concentrate on debilitating conditions which limits the individual from being able to sustain themselves.
