Coryell Autism center

The Coryell Autism Center is dedicated to preparing young people with autism to lead meaningful, productive and independent adult lives through specially-designed home and community-based services. The center is named in honor of the Coryell Family Foundation’s years of commitment to school-aged children with autism, at the Bay School in Santa Cruz, CA. While the Bay School provides an intensive educational environment for school-aged children, the new Coryell Autism Center will focus on the critical transitional years from ages 16 to 22.

The center will provide a curriculum designed to Connect Learning Activities - such as transportation, physical health, meals, and work activities into one coordinated outcome-oriented experience. The center will focus on services and activities that transition-age young people need to have in place prior to aging-out of their educational entitlements.

The Coryell Family Foundation is funding the launch of the Coryell Autism Center, continuing the foundation's tremendous support of the Bay Area autism community. For more information, please contact Marianne Toedtman, president of the Coryell Autism Center, at mtoedtman@gmail.com
